Our Rail and Terminal Services
We offer our rail and dumping services at competitive rates vs. higher cost alternatives such as trucking to the Big Sandy River. The current CSXT Tariff, CSXT 4736-Series, publishes rates to the river for all CSXT coal origins. On volume and term tonnage, TTI is able to negotiate contract rates directly with the customer from CSXT EK & CV division origins. The EK (Eastern KY: Hazard/Elkhorn) & CV (Cumberland Valley: Jellico Middlesboro/Harlan) coals move through Paris via TTI Railroad to the TTI Terminal located in Maysville, Kentucky on the Ohio River at MP 406.L. Coals from other CSXT origins move CSXT direct to Maysville.
TTI Railroad's Paris, Kentucky yard offers a variety of reload services for customers not directly served by a railroad. Bulk materials are brought in by rail, unloaded and delivered by truck to the customer's dock. We also receive bulk materials by truck and load it onto railcars for shipment outbound. Basically, TTI offers the savings of rail freight with the convenience of truck delivery.
TTI offers ground storage and warehousing with storage capacity for almost 400 railcars in our Paris yard. We also contract to store railcars for customers as needed.
